고핫 자손의 임무
2레위 자손 중에서 고핫 자손을 그들의 종족과 조상의 가문에 따라 집계할지니 Take the sum of the sons of Kohath from among the sons of Levi, after their families, by the house of their fathers,
3곧 삼십 세 이상으로 오십 세까지 회막의 일을 하기 위하여 그 역사에 참가할 만한 모든 자를 계수하라 From thirty years old and upward even until fifty years old, all that enter into the host, to do the work in the tabernacle of the congregation.
4고핫 자손이 회막 안의 지성물에 대하여 할 일은 이러하니라 This shall be the service of the sons of Kohath in the tabernacle of the congregation, about the most holy things:
5진영이 전진할 때에 아론과 그의 아들들이 들어가서 칸 막는 휘장을 걷어 증거궤를 덮고 And when the camp setteth forward, Aaron shall come, and his sons, and they shall take down the covering vail, and cover the ark of testimony with it:
6그 위를 해달의 가죽으로 덮고 그 위에 순청색 보자기를 덮은 후에 그 채를 꿰고 And shall put thereon the covering of badgers’ skins, and shall spread over it a cloth wholly of blue, and shall put in the staves thereof.
7진설병의 상에 청색 보자기를 펴고 대접들과 숟가락들과 주발들과 붓는 잔들을 그 위에 두고 또 항상 진설하는 떡을 그 위에 두고 And upon the table of shewbread they shall spread a cloth of blue, and put thereon the dishes, and the spoons, and the bowls, and covers to cover withal: and the continual bread shall be thereon:
8홍색 보자기를 그 위에 펴고 그것을 해달의 가죽 덮개로 덮은 후에 그 채를 꿰고 And they shall spread upon them a cloth of scarlet, and cover the same with a covering of badgers’ skins, and shall put in the staves thereof.
9청색 보자기를 취하여 등잔대와 등잔들과 불 집게들과 불똥 그릇들과 그 쓰는 바 모든 기름 그릇을 덮고 And they shall take a cloth of blue, and cover the candlestick of the light, and his lamps, and his tongs, and his snuffdishes, and all the oil vessels thereof, wherewith they minister unto it:
10등잔대와 그 모든 기구를 해달의 가죽 덮개 안에 넣어 메는 틀 위에 두고 And they shall put it and all the vessels thereof within a covering of badgers’ skins, and shall put it upon a bar.
11금제단 위에 청색 보자기를 펴고 해달의 가죽 덮개로 덮고 그 채를 꿰고 And upon the golden altar they shall spread a cloth of blue, and cover it with a covering of badgers’ skins, and shall put to the staves thereof:
12성소에서 봉사하는 데에 쓰는 모든 기구를 취하여 청색 보자기에 싸서 해달의 가죽 덮개로 덮어 메는 틀 위에 두고 And they shall take all the instruments of ministry, wherewith they minister in the sanctuary, and put them in a cloth of blue, and cover them with a covering of badgers’ skins, and shall put them on a bar:
13제단의 재를 버리고 그 제단 위에 자색 보자기를 펴고 And they shall take away the ashes from the altar, and spread a purple cloth thereon:
14봉사하는 데에 쓰는 모든 기구 곧 불 옮기는 그릇들과 고기 갈고리들과 부삽들과 대야들과 제단의 모든 기구를 두고 해달의 가죽 덮개를 그 위에 덮고 그 채를 꿸 것이며 And they shall put upon it all the vessels thereof, wherewith they minister about it, even the censers, the fleshhooks, and the shovels, and the basons, all the vessels of the altar; and they shall spread upon it a covering of badgers’ skins, and put to the staves of it.
15진영을 떠날 때에 아론과 그의 아들들이 성소와 성소의 모든 기구 덮는 일을 마치거든 고핫 자손들이 와서 멜 것이니라 그러나 성물은 만지지 말라 그들이 죽으리라 회막 물건 중에서 이것들은 고핫 자손이 멜 것이며 And when Aaron and his sons have made an end of covering the sanctuary, and all the vessels of the sanctuary, as the camp is to set forward; after that, the sons of Kohath shall come to bear it: but they shall not touch any holy thing, lest they die. These things are the burden of the sons of Kohath in the tabernacle of the congregation.
16제사장 아론의 아들 엘르아살이 맡을 것은 등유와 태우는 향과 항상 드리는 소제물과 관유이며 또 장막 전체와 그 중에 있는 모든 것과 성소와 그 모든 기구니라 And to the office of Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest pertaineth the oil for the light, and the sweet incense, and the daily meat offering, and the anointing oil, and the oversight of all the tabernacle, and of all that therein is , in the sanctuary, and in the vessels thereof.
18너희는 고핫 족속의 지파를 레위인 중에서 끊어지게 하지 말지니 Cut ye not off the tribe of the families of the Kohathites from among the Levites:
19그들이 지성물에 접근할 때에 그들의 생명을 보존하고 죽지 않게 하기 위하여 이같이 하라 아론과 그의 아들들이 들어가서 각 사람에게 그가 할 일과 그가 멜 것을 지휘하게 할지니라 But thus do unto them, that they may live, and not die, when they approach unto the most holy things: Aaron and his sons shall go in, and appoint them every one to his service and to his burden:
20그들은 잠시라도 들어가서 성소를 보지 말라 그들이 죽으리라 But they shall not go in to see when the holy things are covered, lest they die.
게르손 자손의 임무
22게르손 자손도 그 조상의 가문과 종족에 따라 계수하되 Take also the sum of the sons of Gershon, throughout the houses of their fathers, by their families;
23삼십 세 이상으로 오십 세까지 회막에서 복무하고 봉사할 모든 자를 계수하라 From thirty years old and upward until fifty years old shalt thou number them; all that enter in to perform the service, to do the work in the tabernacle of the congregation.
24게르손 종족의 할 일과 멜 것은 이러하니 This is the service of the families of the Gershonites, to serve, and for burdens:
25곧 그들이 성막의 휘장들과 회막과 그 덮개와 그 위의 해달의 가죽 덮개와 회막 휘장 문을 메며 And they shall bear the curtains of the tabernacle, and the tabernacle of the congregation, his covering, and the covering of the badgers’ skins that is above upon it, and the hanging for the door of the tabernacle of the congregation,
26뜰의 휘장과 성막과 제단 사방에 있는 뜰의 휘장 문과 그 줄들과 그것에 사용하는 모든 기구를 메며 이 모든 것을 이렇게 맡아 처리할 것이라 And the hangings of the court, and the hanging for the door of the gate of the court, which is by the tabernacle and by the altar round about, and their cords, and all the instruments of their service, and all that is made for them: so shall they serve.
27게르손 자손은 그들의 모든 일 곧 멜 것과 처리할 것을 아론과 그의 아들들의 명령대로 할 것이니 너희는 그들이 멜 짐을 그들에게 맡길 것이니라 At the appointment of Aaron and his sons shall be all the service of the sons of the Gershonites, in all their burdens, and in all their service: and ye shall appoint unto them in charge all their burdens.
28게르손 자손의 종족들이 회막에서 할 일은 이러하며 그들의 직무는 제사장 아론의 아들 이다말이 감독할지니라 This is the service of the families of the sons of Gershon in the tabernacle of the congregation: and their charge shall be under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.
므라리 자손의 임무
29너는 므라리 자손도 그 조상의 가문과 종족에 따라 계수하되 As for the sons of Merari, thou shalt number them after their families, by the house of their fathers;
30삼십 세부터 오십 세까지 회막에서 복무하고 봉사할 모든 자를 계수하라 From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old shalt thou number them, every one that entereth into the service, to do the work of the tabernacle of the congregation.
31그들이 직무를 따라 회막에서 할 모든 일 곧 그 멜 것은 이러하니 곧 장막의 널판들과 그 띠들과 그 기둥들과 그 받침들과 And this is the charge of their burden, according to all their service in the tabernacle of the congregation; the boards of the tabernacle, and the bars thereof, and the pillars thereof, and sockets thereof,
32뜰 둘레의 기둥들과 그 받침들과 그 말뚝들과 그 줄들과 그 모든 기구들과 그것에 쓰는 모든 것이라 너희는 그들이 맡아 멜 모든 기구의 품목을 지정하라 And the pillars of the court round about, and their sockets, and their pins, and their cords, with all their instruments, and with all their service: and by name ye shall reckon the instruments of the charge of their burden.
33이는 제사장 아론의 아들 이다말의 수하에 있을 므라리 자손의 종족들이 그 모든 직무대로 회막에서 행할 일이니라 This is the service of the families of the sons of Merari, according to all their service, in the tabernacle of the congregation, under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.
레위 사람 인구 조사
34모세와 아론과 회중의 지도자들이 고핫 자손들을 그 종족과 조상의 가문에 따라 계수하니 And Moses and Aaron and the chief of the congregation numbered the sons of the Kohathites after their families, and after the house of their fathers,
35삼십 세부터 오십 세까지 회막에서 복무하고 봉사할 모든 자 From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that entereth into the service, for the work in the tabernacle of the congregation:
36곧 그 종족대로 계수된 자가 이천칠백오십 명이니 And those that were numbered of them by their families were two thousand seven hundred and fifty.
37이는 모세와 아론이 여호와께서 모세에게 명령하신 대로 회막에서 종사하는 고핫인의 모든 종족 중 계수된 자이니라 These were they that were numbered of the families of the Kohathites, all that might do service in the tabernacle of the congregation, which Moses and Aaron did number according to the commandment of the LORD by the hand of Moses.
38게르손 자손 중 그 종족과 조상의 가문을 따라 계수된 자는 And those that were numbered of the sons of Gershon, throughout their families, and by the house of their fathers,
39삼십 세부터 오십 세까지 회막 봉사에 참여하여 일할 만한 모든 자라 From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that entereth into the service, for the work in the tabernacle of the congregation,
40그 종족과 조상의 가문을 따라 계수된 자는 이천육백삼십 명이니 Even those that were numbered of them, throughout their families, by the house of their fathers, were two thousand and six hundred and thirty.
41이는 모세와 아론이 여호와의 명령대로 회막에서 종사하는 게르손 자손의 모든 종족 중 계수된 자니라 These are they that were numbered of the families of the sons of Gershon, of all that might do service in the tabernacle of the congregation, whom Moses and Aaron did number according to the commandment of the LORD .
42므라리 자손의 종족 중 그 종족과 조상의 가문을 따라 계수된 자는 And those that were numbered of the families of the sons of Merari, throughout their families, by the house of their fathers,
43삼십 세부터 오십 세까지 회막에서 복무하고 봉사할 모든 자라 From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that entereth into the service, for the work in the tabernacle of the congregation,
44그 종족을 따라 계수된 자는 삼천이백 명이니 Even those that were numbered of them after their families, were three thousand and two hundred.
45이는 모세와 아론이 여호와께서 모세에게 명령하신 대로 므라리 자손들의 종족 중 계수된 자니라 These be those that were numbered of the families of the sons of Merari, whom Moses and Aaron numbered according to the word of the LORD by the hand of Moses.
46모세와 아론과 이스라엘 지휘관들이 레위인을 그 종족과 조상의 가문에 따라 다 계수하니 All those that were numbered of the Levites, whom Moses and Aaron and the chief of Israel numbered, after their families, and after the house of their fathers,
47삼십 세부터 오십 세까지 회막 봉사와 메는 일에 참여하여 일할 만한 모든 자 From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that came to do the service of the ministry, and the service of the burden in the tabernacle of the congregation,
48곧 그 계수된 자는 팔천오백팔십 명이라 Even those that were numbered of them, were eight thousand and five hundred and fourscore.
49그들이 할 일과 짐을 메는 일을 따라 모세에게 계수되었으되 여호와께서 모세에게 명령하신 대로 그들이 계수되었더라 According to the commandment of the LORD they were numbered by the hand of Moses, every one according to his service, and according to his burden: thus were they numbered of him, as the LORD commanded Moses.
