1할렐루야, 여호와를 경외하며 그의 계명을 크게 즐거워하는 자는 복이 있도다Praise ye the LORD . Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD , that delighteth greatly in his commandments.
2그의 후손이 땅에서 강성함이여 정직한 자들의 후손에게 복이 있으리로다His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.
3부와재물이 그의 집에 있음이여 그의 공의가 영구히 서 있으리로다Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.
4정직한 자들에게는 흑암 중에 빛이 일어나나니 그는 자비롭고 긍휼이 많으며 의로운 이로다Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.
5은혜를 베풀며 꾸어 주는 자는 잘 되나니 그 일을 정의로 행하리로다A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion.
6그는 영원히 흔들리지 아니함이여 의인은 영원히 기억되리로다Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.
7그는 흉한 소문을 두려워하지 아니함이여 여호와를 의뢰하고 그의 마음을 굳게 정하였도다He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD .
8그의 마음이 견고하여 두려워하지 아니할 것이라 그의 대적들이 받는 보응을 마침내 보리로다His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies.
9그가 재물을 흩어 빈궁한 자들에게 주었으니 그의 의가 영구히 있고 그의 뿔이 영광 중에 들리리로다He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour.
10악인은 이를 보고 한탄하여 이를 갈면서 소멸되리니 악인들의 욕망은 사라지리로다The wicked shall see it , and be grieved; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.
