1가난한 자를 보살피는 자에게 복이 있음이여 재앙의 날에 여호와께서 그를 건지시리로다Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble.
2여호와께서 그를 지키사 살게 하시리니 그가 이 세상에서 복을 받을 것이라 주여 그를 그 원수들의 뜻에 맡기지 마소서The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies.
3여호와께서 그를 병상에서 붙드시고 그가 누워 있을 때마다 그의 병을 고쳐 주시나이다The LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness.
4내가 말하기를 여호와여 내게 은혜를 베푸소서 내가 주께 범죄하였사오니 나를 고치소서 하였나이다I said, LORD , be merciful unto me: heal my soul; for I have sinned against thee.
5나의 원수가 내게 대하여 악담하기를 그가 어느 때에나 죽고 그의 이름이 언제나 없어질까 하며Mine enemies speak evil of me, When shall he die, and his name perish?
6나를 보러 와서는 거짓을 말하고 그의 중심에 악을 쌓았다가 나가서는 이를 널리 선포하오며And if he come to see me , he speaketh vanity: his heart gathereth iniquity to itself; when he goeth abroad, he telleth it .
7나를 미워하는 자가 다 하나같이 내게 대하여 수군거리고 나를 해하려고 꾀하며All that hate me whisper together against me: against me do they devise my hurt.
8이르기를 악한 병이 그에게 들었으니 이제 그가 눕고 다시 일어나지 못하리라 하오며An evil disease, say they , cleaveth fast unto him: and now that he lieth he shall rise up no more.
9내가 신뢰하여 내 떡을 나눠 먹던 나의 가까운 친구도 나를 대적하여 그의 발꿈치를 들었나이다Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me.
10그러하오나 주 여호와여 내게 은혜를 베푸시고 나를 일으키사 내가 그들에게 보응하게 하소서 이로써But thou, O LORD , be merciful unto me, and raise me up, that I may requite them.
11내 원수가 나를 이기지 못하오니 주께서 나를 기뻐하시는 줄을 내가 알았나이다By this I know that thou favourest me, because mine enemy doth not triumph over me.
12주께서 나를 온전한 중에 붙드시고 영원히 주 앞에 세우시나이다And as for me, thou upholdest me in mine integrity, and settest me before thy face for ever.
13이스라엘의 하나님 여호와를 영원부터 영원까지 송축할지로다 아멘 아멘Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting, and to everlasting. Amen, and Amen.
