시드기야의 배반과 죽음(왕하 24:18-25:7)

1시드기야가 왕위에 오를 때에 나이가 이십일 세라 예루살렘에서 십일 년 동안 다스리니라 그의 어머니의 이름은 하무달이라 립나인 예레미야의 딸이더라 Zedekiah was one and twenty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name was Hamutal the daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah.
2그가 여호야김의 모든 행위를 본받아 여호와 보시기에 악을 행한지라 And he did that which was evil in the eyes of the LORD , according to all that Jehoiakim had done.
3여호와께서 예루살렘과 유다에게 진노하심이 그들을 자기 앞에서 쫓아내시기까지 이르렀더라 시드기야가 바벨론 왕을 배반하니라 For through the anger of the LORD it came to pass in Jerusalem and Judah, till he had cast them out from his presence, that Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.
4시드기야 제구년 열째 달 열째 날에 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살이 그의 모든 군대를 거느리고 예루살렘을 치러 올라와서 그 성에 대하여 진을 치고 주위에 토성을 쌓으매 And it came to pass in the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, in the tenth day of the month, that Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon came, he and all his army, against Jerusalem, and pitched against it, and built forts against it round about.
5그 성이 시드기야 왕 제십일년까지 포위되었더라 So the city was besieged unto the eleventh year of king Zedekiah.
6그 해 넷째 달 구일에 성중에 기근이 심하여 그 땅 백성의 양식이 떨어졌더라 And in the fourth month, in the ninth day of the month, the famine was sore in the city, so that there was no bread for the people of the land.
7그 성벽이 파괴되매 모든 군사가 밤중에 그 성에서 나가 두 성벽 사이 왕의 동산 곁문 길로 도망하여 갈대아인들이 그 성읍을 에워쌌으므로 그들이 아라바 길로 가더니 Then the city was broken up, and all the men of war fled, and went forth out of the city by night by the way of the gate between the two walls, which was by the king’s garden; (now the Chaldeans were by the city round about:) and they went by the way of the plain.
8갈대아 군대가 그 왕을 뒤쫓아 가서 여리고 평지에서 시드기야를 따라 잡으매 왕의 모든 군대가 그를 떠나 흩어진지라 But the army of the Chaldeans pursued after the king, and overtook Zedekiah in the plains of Jericho; and all his army was scattered from him.
9그들이 왕을 사로잡아 그를 하맛 땅 리블라에 있는 바벨론 왕에게로 끌고 가매 그가 시드기야를 심문하니라 Then they took the king, and carried him up unto the king of Babylon to Riblah in the land of Hamath; where he gave judgment upon him.
10바벨론 왕이 시드기야의 아들들을 그의 눈 앞에서 죽이고 또 리블라에서 유다의 모든 고관을 죽이며 And the king of Babylon slew the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes: he slew also all the princes of Judah in Riblah.
11시드기야의 두 눈을 빼고 놋사슬로 그를 결박하여 바벨론 왕이 그를 바벨론으로 끌고 가서 그가 죽는 날까지 옥에 가두었더라 Then he put out the eyes of Zedekiah; and the king of Babylon bound him in chains, and carried him to Babylon, and put him in prison till the day of his death.

여호와의 성전이 헐리다(왕하 25:8-17)

12바벨론의 느부갓네살 왕의 열아홉째 해 다섯째 달 열째 날에 바벨론 왕의 어전 사령관 느부사라단이 예루살렘에 이르러 Now in the fifth month, in the tenth day of the month, which was the nineteenth year of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, came Nebuzar-adan, captain of the guard, which served the king of Babylon, into Jerusalem,
13여호와의 성전과 왕궁을 불사르고 예루살렘의 모든 집과 고관들의 집까지 불살랐으며 And burned the house of the LORD , and the king’s house; and all the houses of Jerusalem, and all the houses of the great men , burned he with fire:
14사령관을 따르는 갈대아 사람의 모든 군대가 예루살렘 사면 성벽을 헐었더라 And all the army of the Chaldeans, that were with the captain of the guard, brake down all the walls of Jerusalem round about.
15사령관 느부사라단이 백성 중 가난한 자와 성중에 남아 있는 백성과 바벨론 왕에게 항복한 자와 무리의 남은 자를 사로잡아 갔고 Then Nebuzar-adan the captain of the guard carried away captive certain of the poor of the people, and the residue of the people that remained in the city, and those that fell away, that fell to the king of Babylon, and the rest of the multitude.
16가난한 백성은 남겨 두어 포도원을 관리하는 자와 농부가 되게 하였더라 But Nebuzar-adan the captain of the guard left certain of the poor of the land for vinedressers and for husbandmen.
17갈대아 사람은 또 여호와의 성전의 두 놋기둥과 받침들과 여호와의 성전의 놋대야를 깨뜨려 그 놋을 바벨론으로 가져갔고 Also the pillars of brass that were in the house of the LORD , and the bases, and the brasen sea that was in the house of the LORD , the Chaldeans brake, and carried all the brass of them to Babylon.
18가마들과 부삽들과 부집게들과 주발들과 숟가락들과 섬길 때에 쓰는 모든 놋그릇을 다 가져갔고 The caldrons also, and the shovels, and the snuffers, and the bowls, and the spoons, and all the vessels of brass wherewith they ministered, took they away.
19사령관은 잔들과 화로들과 주발들과 솥들과 촛대들과 숟가락들과 바리들 곧 금으로 만든 물건의 금과 은으로 만든 물건의 은을 가져갔더라 And the basons, and the firepans, and the bowls, and the caldrons, and the candlesticks, and the spoons, and the cups; that which was of gold in gold, and that which was of silver in silver, took the captain of the guard away.
20솔로몬 왕이 여호와의 성전을 위하여 만든 두 기둥과 한 바다와 그 받침 아래에 있는 열두 놋 소 곧 이 모든 기구의 놋 무게는 헤아릴 수 없었더라 The two pillars, one sea, and twelve brasen bulls that were under the bases, which king Solomon had made in the house of the LORD : the brass of all these vessels was without weight.
21그 기둥은 한 기둥의 높이가 십팔 규빗이요 그 둘레는 십이 규빗이며 그 속이 비었고 그 두께는 네 손가락 두께이며 And concerning the pillars, the height of one pillar was eighteen cubits; and a fillet of twelve cubits did compass it; and the thickness thereof was four fingers: it was hollow.

The second pillar also and the pomegranates were like unto these.
23그 사면에 있는 석류는 아흔여섯 개요 그 기둥에 둘린 그물 위에 있는 석류는 도합이 백 개이었더라 And there were ninety and six pomegranates on a side; and all the pomegranates upon the network were an hundred round about.

유다 백성이 바벨론으로 사로잡혀 가다(왕하 25:18-21, 27-30)

24사령관이 대제사장 스라야와 부제사장 스바냐와 성전 문지기 세 사람을 사로잡고 And the captain of the guard took Seraiah the chief priest, and Zephaniah the second priest, and the three keepers of the door:
25또 성 안에서 사람을 사로잡았으니 곧 군사를 거느린 지휘관 한 사람과 또 성중에서 만난 왕의 내시 칠 명과 군인을 감독하는 군 지휘관의 서기관 하나와 성 안에서 만난 평민 육십 명이라 He took also out of the city an eunuch, which had the charge of the men of war; and seven men of them that were near the king’s person, which were found in the city; and the principal scribe of the host, who mustered the people of the land; and threescore men of the people of the land, that were found in the midst of the city.
26사령관 느부사라단은 그들을 사로잡아 리블라에 있는 바벨론의 왕에게 나아가매 So Nebuzar-adan the captain of the guard took them, and brought them to the king of Babylon to Riblah.
27바벨론의 왕이 하맛 땅 리블라에서 다 쳐 죽였더라 이와 같이 유다가 사로잡혀 본국에서 떠났더라 And the king of Babylon smote them, and put them to death in Riblah in the land of Hamath. Thus Judah was carried away captive out of his own land.
28느부갓네살이 사로잡아 간 백성은 이러하니라 제칠년에 유다인이 삼천이십삼 명이요 This is the people whom Nebuchadrezzar carried away captive: in the seventh year three thousand Jews and three and twenty:
29느부갓네살의 열여덟째 해에 예루살렘에서 사로잡아 간 자가 팔백삼십이 명이요 In the eighteenth year of Nebuchadrezzar he carried away captive from Jerusalem eight hundred thirty and two persons:
30느부갓네살의 제이십삼년에 사령관 느부사라단이 사로잡아 간 유다 사람이 칠백사십오 명이니 그 총수가 사천육백 명이더라 In the three and twentieth year of Nebuchadrezzar Nebuzar-adan the captain of the guard carried away captive of the Jews seven hundred forty and five persons: all the persons were four thousand and six hundred.
31유다 왕 여호야긴이 사로잡혀 간 지 삼십칠 년 곧 바벨론의 에윌므로닥 왕의 즉위 원년 열두째 달 스물다섯째 날 그가 유다의 여호야긴 왕의 머리를 들어 주었고 감옥에서 풀어 주었더라 And it came to pass in the seven and thirtieth year of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, in the five and twentieth day of the month, that Evil-merodach king of Babylon in the first year of his reign lifted up the head of Jehoiachin king of Judah, and brought him forth out of prison,
32그에게 친절하게 말하고 그의 자리를 그와 함께 바벨론에 있는 왕들의 자리보다 높이고 And spake kindly unto him, and set his throne above the throne of the kings that were with him in Babylon,
33그 죄수의 의복을 갈아 입혔고 그의 평생 동안 항상 왕의 앞에서 먹게 하였으며 And changed his prison garments: and he did continually eat bread before him all the days of his life.
34그가 날마다 쓸 것을 바벨론의 왕에게서 받는 정량이 있었고 죽는 날까지 곧 종신토록 받았더라 And for his diet, there was a continual diet given him of the king of Babylon, every day a portion until the day of his death, all the days of his life.
