1여호와께서 내 음성과 내 간구를 들으시므로 내가 그를 사랑하는도다I love the LORD , because he hath heard my voice and my supplications.
2그의 귀를 내게 기울이셨으므로 내가 평생에 기도하리로다Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.
3사망의 줄이 나를 두르고 스올의 고통이 내게 이르므로 내가 환난과 슬픔을 만났을 때에The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow.
4내가 여호와의 이름으로 기도하기를 여호와여 주께 구하오니 내 영혼을 건지소서 하였도다Then called I upon the name of the LORD ; O LORD , I beseech thee, deliver my soul.
5여호와는 은혜로우시며 의로우시며 우리 하나님은 긍휼이 많으시도다Gracious is the LORD , and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.
6여호와께서는 순진한 자를 지키시나니 내가 어려울 때에 나를 구원하셨도다The LORD preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.
7내 영혼아 네 평안함으로 돌아갈지어다 여호와께서 너를 후대하심이로다Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee.
8주께서 내 영혼을 사망에서, 내 눈을 눈물에서, 내 발을 넘어짐에서 건지셨나이다For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.
9내가 생명이 있는 땅에서 여호와 앞에 행하리로다I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living.
10내가 크게 고통을 당하였다고 말할 때에도 나는 믿었도다I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted:
11내가 놀라서 이르기를 모든 사람이 거짓말쟁이라 하였도다I said in my haste, All men are liars.
12내게 주신 모든 은혜를 내가 여호와께 무엇으로 보답할까What shall I render unto the LORD for all his benefits toward me?
13내가 구원의 잔을 들고 여호와의 이름을 부르며I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD .
14여호와의 모든 백성 앞에서 나는 나의 서원을 여호와께 갚으리로다I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people.
15그의 경건한 자들의 죽음은 여호와께서 보시기에 귀중한 것이로다Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.
16여호와여 나는 진실로 주의 종이요 주의 여종의 아들 곧 주의 종이라 주께서 나의 결박을 푸셨나이다O LORD , truly I am thy servant; I am thy servant, and the son of thine handmaid: thou hast loosed my bonds.
17내가 주께 감사제를 드리고 여호와의 이름을 부르리이다I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the LORD .
18내가 여호와께 서원한 것을 그의 모든 백성이 보는 앞에서 내가 지키리로다I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people,
19예루살렘아, 네 한가운데에서 곧 여호와의 성전 뜰에서 지키리로다 할렐루야In the courts of the LORD’s house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye the LORD .
